One of my favorite things to do is go to the local independent theater and buy a ticket for a movie that I've never even heard of. The best part is that 99% of the time, I loved this unfamiliar movie, and I've had good food to assist in the experience. I would say a must is to order the truffle fries that come with parmesan shavings on top and served with ketchup that has a hint of cinnamon. So salty and delicious; the only kind of fries worth indulging in.

This theater also has great way to bring in business: every Wednesday they blow up an inflatable screen on the lawn next to their outdoor bar and play an old movie, for free. Then they have beer specials to make it that much better.

We also will get the trio spread plate of hummus and olive tapendade served with warm pita bread triangles. So yum, I nearly lick my fingers. There is also the pear proscuitto gorgonzola pizza, which is an explosion of flavor, that's pretty much the only way I can describe it. The salty proscuitto is so nicely coupled with the sweet slivers of pear. And then cheese, who doesn't love cheese? As you can see, I barely got a photo of the pizza before we ate the entire thing. Heaven on a plate.

Lastly, Melissa from ShakeeShakee is my latest swapped button! She and I have been following each others blogs for a while so it was only natural for us to swap! She does lots of DIYs and, in my opinion, won best Halloween costume(s) of '12. Check out her blog and say hi! Now, I'm off to make the most of the farmers market with S before I'm off to work a wedding! Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!
